A great cup of coffee starts with the grower, so that is where we start. Our Bean2Cup program is about much more than what flows into your cup, it is about the entire process – from seed to cup. By developing an exceptional, transparent relationship with our roaster and partnering with our suppliers on equipment engineering, we at Crown do everything in our ability to ensure that the coffee produced in our Bean2Cup machines is ethically grown and extraordinary in flavor. We do this by engaging with the entire coffee process.

Our Bean2Cup program starts with our roaster, fourth-generation family-owned Mills Coffee Roasting Co., based in Providence, RI. Mills Coffee works directly with growers and well-reputed brokers to bring in high-grown, shade-grown, environmentally friendly coffee. Working with Mills, we create a hand-picked selection of coffees to offer to our customers, often with customized roast profiles and blends. We listen to your feedback and Mills listens to our feedback. Together, we’ve been able to create a number of unique blends, flavors, and roast profiles refined for the Boston market.

We also partner closely with our equipment providers, providing vital insight into machine functionality, consistency, and customizability. Every machine that leaves our building is individually calibrated to the specific coffees used in that machine and to the client’s taste profile. We know our coffee is excellent and that our machine has the ability to create your perfect up of coffee – and that is what we strive to produce with each and every brew. Once the machine is in place, we provide weekly service on the machine, cleaning it thoroughly and rechecking your calibrations. Others may view their coffee as a beverage, we view is as a cup that displays the perfect balance of nature, engineering, and roasting art.

Each of our Bean2Cup machines grinds and brews freshly roasted beans within the machine. Each machine can hold three different types of beans, fresh milk, and cocoa. The machines offer users the option to choose not only their drink but also their coffee, coffee strength, and personalized coffee blends. Our machines also offer smart operations technology, allowing customers to track usage and other key metrics from their desktop. Now more than ever the health and safety of employees is vital.
